Visiting the Mayor of San Martin de Porres - March, 2008

March 7th, 2008. Members of Solidarity Peru met with the Mayor of the District of San Martin de Porres in Lima, Mr. Freddy Ternero, shown in the picture with Dr. Rottkamp. Discussions involved projects related to Health, Sports, assistance to popular Milk Clubs, Social Service and Municipal Health Centers.

During the interview, Mayor Ternero showed a lot of interest and enthusiasm in carrying out these projects for the benefit of the District of San Martin de Porres, which has a population of 600,000 and is the second largest in the city of Lima. It is in this district, in the area of Valdiviezo, that the Rottkamp Charitable Foundation initiated its charity in 2003.
