Reaffirming our commitment to education and development, we carried out a new edition of our school backpack donation campaign—an initiative we have led since 2008 to support children from hillside communities at the start of the school year.
The purpose of this effort is to help students from public schools access essential materials that enhance their learning and strengthen their motivation from the very first day of classes.
The 2026 campaign was successfully implemented thanks to the valuable support of the Rottkamp Foundation (USA) and its collaborators, whose ongoing commitment makes this initiative possible year after year.
On this occasion, the distribution took place at the José Carlos Mariátegui La Chira Public School No. 3045, where children from different schools in the area gathered, including those from human settlements located in the upper areas of Cerro La Milla and surrounding neighborhoods. The activity was carried out in coordination with the “Mujeres Emprendedoras” Glass of Milk program, whose work plays a key role in the well-being of the community.
We sincerely thank all the individuals and institutions who make this initiative possible, convinced that joint efforts create opportunities and help build a better future for children.
